Minnie specializes in flora & fauna design and fine lines, but enjoys a variety of styles. She is well known for pet portraits and botanical/animal designs.

Minnie strives to capture her animal subjects uniqueness in her work through expressive faces and fine details.

Originally from Christchurch, Minnie grew up with a huge love for animals and drawing/ painting. She dabbled in different jobs, studies and art courses before making the move to Auckland in 2012, where she studied Animal Management & Welfare. Alongside her degree, Minnie continued working on various art projects, which led to a tattoo apprenticeship under Tritoan Ly.

It was Minnie’s dream to create a welcoming studio to share with other like-minded artists, where everyone could feel supported and respected. So after 5 years in the industry, Minnie opened Mira in 2020. Mira is a space born of passion for art and nature, and a love of creating beautiful tattoos to compliment each person’s body and story.
